Post your vocals and get critiqued.

Title says it all. Syntax is pretty simple, poster name and their vocals:

In all honesty, I won't say you are good or bad. You sound like everyone else in those genre's of music so if that's what you were shooting for you got it. If you are going for originality I think you still have some work to do though I really don't know how to go about that.

You can hear my black metal vocals at my bands bandcamp here and I'll be putting up some better Death vocals in the near future. I'm not a fan of how they came out on the yildun recordings because we really didn't know how to record death vocals well.

I'm not home right now but I will check them out.
I'm not going to sound like everyone else -- I just happen to be a novice vocalist (havent been doing this for awhile).

Since Dyldo decided to sticky this thread, I'll update my first posts with everyone's name + link that replies when I get home.

Edited to add:

Those highs remind me so much of Chuck Schuldiner. I know I've said it before, but I like them a lot.

Definitely cool man, once you've been doing it a while I'm sure you will develop something.

Speaking of death a few years ago we used to cover crystal mountain in Yildun haha. It was at a highschool battle of the bands(that we won HAHAHA) so I was being retarded before the song and we had definite sloppy moments. Anyways Crystal Mountain - Death Cover

Good tone, I can dig.

I'll be posting some more stuff very soon. My black metal band Autolatry is releasing a new ep this friday and I'm going to be recording some tech death thursday for a friend of mine. Looking forward to posting that as all my old tech death stuff sounds like anus. I was too worried about trying to sound like someone else back then and have since developed a much more powerful voice of my own for death metal.

Why no lows? Don't break edge.

http://www.reverbnation.com/dellamortesc

recorded in early 2011. the main vocals were recorded in one take, the highs were recorded in a second. i'd wrote lyrics only an hour or so before recording this and hadn't even practiced the song. it was a "what happens happens" kinda thing, really. i was about three or four feet from the mic, which was sitting in a chair in the middle of an empty garage, giving it a nice, natural reverb.

recorded two years ago. not too bad, i guess. would have been better with a real mic. very low quality.

Aurora Borealis cover A friend of mine did a cover of Crucible of Creation and asked me to record vocals. It's at the link.
