hand speed

I have been heavy in to improving my blast beats for quite some time and i have been having trouble with maintaining my right hand went playing at high speeds. I play a right handed kit and can play open handed leading with my left (because i am left handed) and normal leading with right because thats how I was taught. my problem is when I do rolls it sounds like one hand is stronger than the other. Also blast beats with my right hand on my snare can't go as fast as with my left hand on my snare. normal drumming, my hands are fine but with blast beats my hands aren't able to do equal speed and i would very much like them to.

So,finally, I was wondering if any one had any suggestions as to how i can go about improving hand speed and strengthening weak hands because my slow right hand is pissing me off when it comes to blast beats and hyper-speed fills.
thanks

BTW- I suffer from the same problem, only it's my left hand that is gimpy.
I've just been working on it constanly while I'm druming our songs, by throwing in single handed drum rolls here and there. I find if I warm up REALLY good, and really work my weak hand for a good 15 minutes, I perform better.

this is common for EVERY drummer, try the Derek Roddy exercises, they train both hands evenly, and are very helpfull
