Try these, really tasty:
Czech republic
-Pilsner Urquell
-Staropramen
Germany
-EKU 28 (doesn't taste good, but it's the strongest beer worldwide!!!)
-Veltins (it's in "other breweries")
- Köstritzer Schwarzbier
- try some "Kölsch" (Früh, Küppers, Dom) it's a bit sweet and you can drink a lot of it. Or "Alt" (Diebels, Frankenheim, Schlösser). In Germany we have some kind of war between "Kölsch" from Cologne and "Alt" from Düsseldorf. They have even a war in soccer and with carnival-traditions. It's funny that these two cities are close neighbors, but you won't find in Cologne a sign that leads to Düsseldorf and vice versa.
So, prefer "Kölsch" or "Alt" and you'll take part in this war. 
BTW I like cologne better, but both beers have their pros and contras. |

What the hell means "100% proof"?
I can't imagine it's 100% pure alcohol.
12% beer is ugly! Too much alcohol taste. It's best at 5%, so you've got enough alcohol to get drunk and mostly have a nice taste of the ingredients.

Oland's Red, Keith's Pale Ale, Sleeman's(Golden honey?), Labatt Blue are the most decent I've had.

I know Smirnoff Ice has been lame, I've only gotten drunk of it once(I drank 7, they're fucking sick) and that's because they didn't have what we wanted to get at the store.
Aww man coconut rum is good, I've only drank it once though because I can't afford more expensive rum..haha just the basics...The best rum I've had is Lambs, that white shit, it's really smooth for rum.

There are a few different types of whisky (scotch, rye, bourbon, Canadian, etc), dependant on the grain used and, in some cases, the brewing process. My mixture is still enjoyable.
But a drink a mixture one day that was horrible. Cola was in there just for the colour!!! Could just drink three of them that night and was "kinda" drunk.

I usually switch between Labatt Blue and Keith's. I like pilsner so it's mostly blue.
I agree about the local beers bassb, The local beer around here is fucking garbage. But keiths is local to halifax, so you're local beer is great.

Oh, everyone's said it, or stopped and worried 'Well, I drink when no one else is/almost every day/alone in my room while crying ... am I an alcoholic?' and thought of quitting for that reason. I just was lucky enough to see a lot of that beforehand and for that reason have yet to make a liar of myself. On that subject. I never really saw any appeal to quitting, even during my worst hangovers.

I've been to the hospital once, seen friends getting rushed off, seen respectable females do stpuid shit with guys that get them too drunk, and have been arrested. I think I posted something on this site a while ago saying I will never drink hard liquor again after walking in on my friend who was about to commit suicide.

I nearly had to go to the hospital, something about getting my stomach pumped.. i mixed 2 litres of cider with half a bottle of vodka, downed.. it was nasty i puked like 30 times, i was ripping the lining off my stomach, that was the day when i said i was never going to drink again.. ahah i dont blame myself for saying it.

Well i was drinking real ales and Strongbow all last week (8 cans for a fiver, and they were 13.5% extra cans so it was pints ), now i've decided to quit drink for a bit and put my money toward guitar kit

Well I've pretty much grew an immunity to Crown.. so Jager does it for me now..
I've also become quite fond of Budwieser Select.. I dont know why, it just taste.. pleasing.

Pabst Blue Ribbon is the olny beer for me. $13.50 for a 30 pack and it tastes amazing with 6% alch.
I'm also a fan of spiced rum(regular rum sucks). But my first true love is Vodka., cheap or expensive I love it all.

Icehouse is an american beer. I know most people hate american beer, but I think it is quite possibly the best beer in the world. Heinekin comes in second but by far. It has 5.5% alcohol, its brewed in milwaukee. Its cheap as hell too.

Back when I did drink...I preferred the really cheap and low quality stuff....seemed to produce a more insane state of drunkeness which was obviously my goal.
